After enlisting nine of his allies to fight alongside him in the 'Tournament of Power', Goku ends up recruiting Freeza as well. Across the tournament, Goku teams up with Vegeta to eliminate Universe 9, and fights several other warriors before finally battling Jiren. Jiren overwhelms him, causing Goku to use the Spirit Bomb.
