- Aug 23, 2015 All you should need to do to disable DSFix is either remove or rename the DINPUT8.dll from your Dark Souls install directory. Any other issues you have afterwards can't really be attributed to DSFix I don't think, because at that point it is no longer running.
- Jan 06, 2014 Can anyone please verify if the game (Dark souls) crashes at launch (cant get to the main menu) with the DSFIX (which uses DINPUT8.dll) and adding the data.exe to RivaTunerStatisticsServer? For me: Without DSFIX and added in the statistics server the game works. Without adding it in the statistics server and with DSFIX the game works.

Currently, I'm having a trouble, so I need some help. So I installed Dark Souls 1 and it runs smoothly, but I have this problem with my gamepad. X360ce doesn't beep and I do have the beep sound on. So x360ce doesn't find the game but that's not my problem really. My problem is that, whenever I get to the game my character automatically goes to the right, no matter what. Could someone help me?
