We are out of ammo, yes me and Piper.I'm automatic build I use 4 weapons, Automatic Combat Rifle, Automatic Combat Shotgun, Automatic 10mm Pistol, Automatic Pipe Rifle.Piper use 2 weapons Sniper Rifle,.44 Pistol.Each of that SIX weapons with different ammo kind. I even exhausted that ugly pipe weapons ammo. I haven't got Assault Rifle yet only lv 20 now.Still we are out of ammo now, crazy right? Things like this didn't happened to my Non Automatic Rifle build in old survival.I haven't take a single perk in scrounger yet, don't want to if possible. 1. Fallout 4 45 Pistol Location

Explosive auto 10mm is definitely the highest DPS, but per shot damage has to go to the.44 revolver. It's up to your preference of gameplay, really. Close, a wounding scattered automatic laser pistol is the highest dps pistol, but explosive auto 10mm isn't bad, thats for sure.

The sad truth is, automatic weapons in FO4 are terrible. Extremely, mind-blowingly terrible. They do 1/3 the damage and have a firing rate slightly more than 3x their non-automatic counterpart, making it look like they have slightly more DPS.

But once you factor in resistances, it ends up being the same. And using 3x the ammo as a result. Worse, auto weapons encourage you to go full auto and spray bullets everywhere, wasting even more.Even Spray and Pray sucks.Just take a look at weapons in Fallout New Vegas. An early starting 10mm pistol does 22 damage, and a 10mm SMG does 19 damage, with 3 times the firing rate! This is perfect.

It lets you pull out the SMG when you need to lay down more damage in a shorter amount of time, at the cost of bullets. I did this all the time, and don't recall ever having issues with the ammo (except at the very start of the game).A quick search on Nexus finds a mod that somewhat improves auto damage, by adding more mods for each gun:Might be worth a shot. No pun intended.:P. I've ever only used automatic weapons and I can take down anything with ease. @RizzlyWell not sure about later, but right now I even take alternative weapons, all my ammo exhausted.For example it can take 30+ shots 10mm/.45 ammo to take 1 lv 20-35 Automatron robots, which usually come in group, they are everywhere, and love to eat my ammos.It takes about 30-40 shots to down a Behemoth with Automatic Combat Shotgun (which at my level it's damage is 119) but Behemoth is very rare.From the beginning I only be able to collect and save 1000+ combined ammos. I'm lv 21 now.Without scrounger perk and without buying any.Are you survival?
